Harrish Jayaraj Biography
Harrish Jayaraj is one of the Dashing Music Composer in the Indian Film Industry.He was born on january 8 in 1975(36) in Chennai.
His father, S. M. Jayakumar,He is a guitarist and Working as an assistant to Malayalam music director "Shyam" and later became a Musician and film Composer.Harrish Father wanted him to become a great singer, but his interest was in music and he once confessed that he couldn't sing well.At the age of six began Harrish got training in carnatic music.
After that Harris Jayaraj pursed his graduation from the "Trinity College of Music" in London where he was the top mark scorer from Asia.Harris started his music career as a keyboardist in 1987 at age twelve and went on to work under more than twenty five music directors in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Bengali and Oriya, working in more than 600 projects.
He worked under Famouse in Tamil Film composers A. R. Rahman, Mani Sharma, Karthik Raja, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Vidyasagar and He also working under Raj-Koti Telugu Music Director, While working with A.R.Rahmann as a additional programmer, he want to became an Film music director. In 2001 he introduced by Gowtham Vasudev Menon in "Minnale" in which the song "Vassegara" was Big Hit,he got the Filmfare Award for BEst Music Director for the film Minnale in 2001.
Also He broked A.R.Rahman record,getting hte FilmFare Award continuosly 9 years .After massive hit of minnale he composed music Tamil films "12B" and "Majunu" in the same year 2001,those films are became Sucessful Musically. His Minnale score was later used in the Hindi version, titled "Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein" also directed by Gautham Menon.After that he started composed "Lesa Lesa" Tamil film, which was also a very successful album. He made his debut in Tollywood with Vasu,by which he got
lots of fans in Andra Pradesh.

In 2003 he won Filmfare Award ,International Film Award and Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for Best Music Director for "Kaakha Kaakha", In 2005 he won Best Music Director Award for "Anniyan" film,and he won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Music Director for "Gajini" film, He won Best Music Director Award for" Vaaranam Aayiram" in the year of 2008,after Big hit of vaaranam Aayiram he worked with K.V.Anand "Ayan" film he got Best Music Director Award for ayan film.Especially he got "Kalaimamani Award from the Government of Tamil Nadu.
